For me - and I guess for lots of people out there - one of the biggest difficulties I have in creating new designs, is finding inspiration to come up with something that is truly my own. I'm always particularly mindful that I have some very strong influences, and that it would be very easy for me to fall into the trap of simply plagiarising. Sometimes this knowledge is completely debilitating, and causes a complete creative block. But then I have days, like today, where I realise that when I look a little harder inspiration really is all around me.
